THE PROCESS
Consultation & Planning
- Inspect the space or the item to be repaired, built, or customized. Create sketches or technical drawings. Suggest materials, finishes, and design options based on the project requirements. Collaborate with architects or interior designers (for larger projects).

Material Selection
- Select the appropriate wood or material based on durability, functionality, and aesthetics (e.g., hardwood, softwood, or engineered wood like plywood or MDF). Procure materials, fasteners, adhesives, and finishes from trusted suppliers.
Preparation
- Prepare the work area, ensuring safety and organization. Use precise measurements and mark the wood or materials as per the design. Select and set up the required tools, such as saws, drills, clamps, and sanders.

Construction & Assembly
- Create joints (e.g., dovetail, mortise and tenon, or pocket holes) for assembling pieces. Fasten pieces together using nails, screws, or adhesives to form the structure. Ensure the piece is sturdy and aligned correctly.
Finishing & Detailing
- Smooth surfaces and edges to remove roughness and prepare for finishing. Apply stains, paint, or varnish for protection and aesthetics. Buff and polish the piece for a high-quality finish. Add handles, hinges, locks, or other hardware as needed.

Installation
- Deliver the finished product to the client or project site. Install cabinetry, furniture, or structural components securely. Ensure everything fits perfectly and functions properly.
